Lunch Buffet

The self-service restaurant Intermezzo is located at the 1st floor of the Placid Hotel Zurich.

Our rich lunch buffet is available from Monday to Thursday from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm.

We offer a large salad buffet and a hot buffet with various vegetarian and meat dishes. You can put together your own plate according to your wishes and portion sizes. Payment is by weight.

We also serve croissants, sandwiches, snacks, coffee specialities and various changing daily specials.

Opening hours

Summer break
From Friday, July 19th 2024 to Sunday, August 4th 2024 Intermezzo is closed

Winter break
From Friday, December 20th 2024 to Sunday, January 5th 2025 Intermezzo is closed.

On Fridays and during the summer and winter break we are happy to welcome you at the restaurant Buckhuser at the ground floor.

Early luncher with free drink

To avoid waiting times in the Intermezzo, guests who have paid for their meal by 11.45 am will receive a free soft drink.

Late luncher meal at half price

To avoid wasting valuable food, there is a 50% discount on the remaining food at the buffet from 1.00 pm. The buffet is then no longer replenished but there is usually still enough food available.

Take away

The food on offer is also available to take away. Take-away dishes are available, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
